This Spring in Ancient Tea Mountains
Spring arrived early in Yunnan this year. Temperatures in Kunming were constantly in mid 20s Celsius since mid January. Tea buds also came out early in ancient tea mountains this year. Everyone in tea industry knows that timing is critical in producing high quality tea. We started this year’s Spring tea harvest in February. People worked through Chinese New Year period to pluck early spring tea leaves and buds in the remote ancient tea mountains. To ensure the quality of this year’s production, Mr. Liu gave up his entire New Year and Chinese New Year holidays and has worked with people in ancient tea mountains since last November.
Rains that came after the harvest did not cause any problem to us thanks to our investments in infrastructure. In next month or so, you will be able to enjoy our hand compressed 2005 Golden Da Mo Ancient Tea Tree Pu-erh Bing Cha. Stay tuned!
